Frequently asked questions

Pricing, certifications, response times — answered honestly.

How quickly can you get to me in Málaga?

For emergencies anywhere in Málaga city, we aim for a 30-minute arrival window. For surrounding municipalities (Torremolinos, Rincón de la Victoria, Benalmádena), allow 45–60 minutes depending on traffic. Outside emergencies, we usually book same-day or next-day appointments.

How do you handle pricing?

You always get a clear quote before any work starts — call or WhatsApp with the details and we can usually quote on the call. No surprises at the end of the job.

Can you issue a boletín eléctrico (CIE)?

Yes. We are a registered "instalador autorizado" with the Junta de Andalucía. We can inspect your installation, carry out any required upgrades to meet the REBT, and issue the boletín on the same visit. The boletín is what you need to contract a new electricity supply or transfer one.

Do you speak English?

Yes — fully bilingual English and Spanish from your first call to the final invoice. About 60% of our customers are British, Irish, Dutch or Scandinavian residents in Málaga and the Costa del Sol, so we are used to explaining Spanish electrical regulations clearly in English.

Can you give me a price over the phone?

For most jobs, yes — describe what is going on, the property type, the postcode, and we can usually quote on the call. For anything we cannot quote sight-unseen (rewires, fault-finding on older properties, larger commercial work) we book a free site visit and come back to you with a written quote the same day.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, card (Visa / Mastercard), bank transfer and Bizum. We invoice with VAT properly itemised — useful for landlords and businesses. For larger jobs we ask for a 30% deposit and the balance on completion.

Are you insured and certified?

Yes — full public liability and professional indemnity cover. Our installers hold the IBTE Especialista category recognised by the Junta de Andalucía. Insurance certificates and installer credentials are available on request before any work starts.

Do you guarantee your work?

Every job comes with a 12-month workmanship guarantee. If anything we have installed fails within that window, we come back and fix it free of charge. Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed through directly to you.

Which areas do you cover?

Málaga city in full (Centro, Pedregalejo, El Palo, Teatinos, Churriana, Cerrado de Calderón, El Limonar, La Malagueta, Carretera de Cádiz, Huelin, Campanillas, Puerto de la Torre) plus Torremolinos, Benalmádena and Rincón de la Victoria. Other Costa del Sol locations on request — just ask.

I need an electrician outside business hours. Can you still help?

Yes — we are genuinely 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Out-of-hours rates may differ from standard hours; we tell you the price on the call before we dispatch. For burning smells, sparking, or full power loss, please call rather than use the form.
